Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool is not shy to admit that he still feels some resentment toward the Cleveland Browns after the way they handled themselves after their playoff game last week. The Browns pulled off the upset at Heinz Field on Sunday, running away with a  48-37 win against the Steelers in their NFL Wild Card Round matchup.

That victory snapped Cleveland's 17-game losing skid against Pittsburgh and also gave them their first playoff win in 26-years. Claypool, however, was still not willing to throw praises the Browns way and called them classless for their post-game antics. The 22-year-old former Notre Dame standout for the Steelers even made a bold proclamation in the Browns' upcoming Divisional Round clash with reigning Super Bowl champs Kansas City Chiefs, per DAZN (via ESPN).

Ignited by disparaging comments made by Steelers wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster before the match, several Browns players made sure to rub that W in their faces after the game. Chase Claypool, of course, was certainly not happy about that.

Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield, who was the star of that win over the Steelers, used JuJu's remark that “the Browns is the Browns” as motivation before that elimination game.

His teammate Jarvis Landry did not seem gracious in victory either, mocking Smith-Schuster after the game was decided.   The same goes for Cleveland running back Kareem Hunt, who even mockingly danced “Corvette Corvette” in the locker room. For sure, Chase Claypool and the rest of the Steelers will not forget this anytime soon.

While the Steelers try to make fixes to their operation for the 2021 season (something they have already tried to do by firing offensive coaches and building a new offensive staff under coach Mike Tomlin), the Browns will face the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon in the AFC Divisional Playoff Game in Arrowhead Stadium.
