Baker Mayfield is not letting JuJu Smith-Schuster off the hook following his disparaging comments about the Cleveland Browns.

The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver earned the ire of Cleveland fans and players after claiming that “the Browns are still the same Browns”.

Entering Sunday's highly anticipated Wild Card match between the two teams, Mayfield used Smith-Schuster's slight as motivation.

It definitely worked, as the 25-year-old quarterback played out of his mind in his playoff debut, leading the Browns to a stunning 48-37 upset win over the favored Steelers at Heinz Arena. Mayfield stayed locked in and was the catalyst of Cleveland's 28 unanswered first-quarter points. He finished the game with 21 completed passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns.

Mayfield and Cleveland certainly got the last laugh over the trash-talking Smith-Schuster. Cleveland even got their first playoff win in 26 years and snapped a 17-game losing streak on the road to the Steelers.

The rest of the Browns, meanwhile, also made sure JuJu would eat crow after his statements blew up in his face.

Jarvis Landry, who anchored that big lead early with several touchdowns, appeared to mock the Steelers' wide receiver after the game.  The same goes with Kareem Hunt, who danced to Juju's favorite song “Corvette Corvette” as the Browns celebrated in the locker room.

Meanwhile, it's never wise to light a fire under your opponents, especially to someone as determined as Baker Mayfield. JuJu Smith-Schuster definitely learned that the hard way on Sunday.
