All the news the last week has revolved around Antonio Brown but one person who caused the teams a lot of headaches earlier this season was Le'Veon Bell and Mike Tomlin wouldn't completely rule out bringing him back.

Bell was expected to be a big part of the Steelers team this year but after not being able to reach an agreement on a contract Bell decided to sit out the entire season and come into this free agent period healthy.

Most believe that Bell and the Steelers will go in different directions but when asked on Wednesday about bringing back bell he was pretty vague.

“We are in process of assessing and reviewing what happened in ‘18, and appropriately so,” Tomlin said per Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, “and we are going to pause before we start talking about development of ’19. And that includes any and all potential free agents and things of that nature from a personnel standpoint, from a coaching standpoint. I just don’t have a lot of answers along those lines as we stand here today and really don’t want to speculate a lot, because if you’re legitimately open to doing what’s necessary that we are not here next year at this time, then you better leave it open-ended that you intend to that.”

The Steelers also discovered how good of a running back James Conner is and Bell is still going to be looking for a big contract. All signs point toward Bell still not coming back but Tomlin at least wants to keep his options open for next season.
