Already viewed as one of the best three-point shooters in the history of the league, Stephen Curry cemented that status by hitting nine three-pointers in Golden State‘s 139-115 victory over the Washington Wizards on Sunday.

Curry now has made 302 three-pointers this season, making him the only player in NBA history to hit 300 or more threes in two different seasons. No other player has ever made 300 threes in a single season, Curry has done it — twice.

Last season, Curry made an unprecedented 402 threes; a mark he will not get anywhere close to this year. But while Curry hasn't made as many threes as he did last season, he is still knocking down shots from long range at an incredible rate. Curry is shooting 40.4 percent from three and is attempting 10 from long distance a game. He leads the league in three-pointers made and attempted.

Curry is tenth on the NBA's all-time three-pointers made list with 1,895 threes. He trails Jazz veteran Joe Johnson, who is ninth on the list, by 26 three-pointers. Jason Kidd is eighth on the list with 1,988 made three-pointers. Kidd is likely out of his reach this season but Curry could possibly surpass Johnson in the final five games of Golden State's season, especially if he continues to shoot the ball like he did against the Wizards. But even if by the end of the season Curry remains at tenth on the all-time three-pointers made list, he will no doubt continue to climb up next year and likely will be No. 1 when he chooses to retire.

The league has never seen a three-point shooter like Curry and he continues to remind us about that every single time he plays.
