The Phoenix Suns have agreed to terms on a new deal with 6-foot-10 power forward Dario Saric. According to reports, the new contract is worth $27 million for three years.

This report comes via ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:

Saric arrived in Phoenix last summer in a trade deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Suns sent rookie Jarret Culver to the Wolves in exchange for Saric and Cameron Johnson.

In his first year with the Suns, Saric averaged 10.7 points (on 47.6 percent shooting), 6.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, while also connecting on 1.3 triples per game on a 35.7 percent clip. The 26-year-old filled the role of Phoenix's starting power forward, logging an average of 24.7 minutes per contest. Along with big man Deandre Ayton, Saric formed what has emerged as a (relatively) young and promising frontcourt for the Suns.

Clearly, Phoenix liked what they saw in Saric last season, and it resulted in a long-term deal for the Croatian national.

This isn't the only signing the Suns have made in the past few days, with the team recently making headlines for bringing in 10-time All-Star point guard Chris Paul to Phoenix. It was one of the biggest blockbuster trades early in the offseason, which required the Suns to part ways with Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre Jr., Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque, and a future first-round pick.

More recently, the Suns also brought in free agent Jae Crowder on a three-year, $29.2 million deal.

Needless to say, Phoenix is making big moves this offseason, as they look to emerge as a serious contender in a ruthless Western Conference for the coming campaign.
