Phoenix Suns shooting guard Jamal Crawford is no doubt a legend of the game. While making coming off the bench cool over the years, the longtime NBA sixth man is now beginning to look toward the future, which includes life after basketball.

Although Crawford still enjoys coaching up the younger guys both on his team and around the league, it doesn't appear as though he has a future in coaching atop the highest level.

“Nah, I wouldn’t want to coach NBA,” the veteran two-guard recently said, via Amico Hoops. “I coach high school, though.

”I enjoy it. Seeing guys go forward in their careers. They’re just kind of starting their journey, and that’s what’s exciting about it. To see somebody go from point A to point C is sometimes more exciting than you going to point C.”

It is also worth noting that the seasoned sharpshooter gave some more hints regarding his future — and specifically his NBA playing future.

“I’ll be playing,” Crawford said, via Amico Hoops, reportedly with a smile when asked about next season.

Hopefully this isn't his last season, mostly for the sake of Crawford ultimately going out on top.

Unfortunately, the Suns currently sit in last place in the Western Conference standings, thanks to the team's dismal 12-50 record. Although the Suns may be on the rise in terms of young talent, the team has yet to string it all together en route to encountering a successful season-long effort.

Perhaps the presence of Crawford for another season is just what the struggling Suns need.
