Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver may be facing major repercussions for wrongful behavior.

Jordan Schultz, who hosts the Pull Up Podcast with C.J. McCollum of the Portland Trail Blazers, reported that the NBA is preparing to receive a story uncovering accusations of racism, sexism and sexual harassment towards Sarver. The evidence may lead to the league removing Sarver from his position as Phoenix's owner.

Sarver, who purchased the Suns in 2004, has a reputation as one of the worst team owners in the NBA, if not all of professional sports. His cheapness and inability to hire smart basketball minds caused the Suns to be mostly a trainwreck under his watch. He threatened to move the Suns in 2018 after the city didn't help fund a new arena. Phoenix suffered a decade-long playoff drought under Sarver from 2011 to 2020.

Even as the team rebounded with a run to the NBA Finals last season, Sarver may have interrupted its tremendous progress. His cheapness seems to have stalled contract negotiations with key starter Deandre Ayton. The center, who shined in his first postseason appearance, is now upset with the organization.

The NBA has not removed an owner from their team since 2014 when commissioner Adam Silver famously banned then-Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life over allegations similar to Sarver's.
