Tuesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Andrew Wiggins went off by scoring 40 points in Minnesota's two-point road win. Wiggins, who has a history of playing well in OKC, was called the Mayor of OKC by the Timberwolves' official Twitter account after his stellar night.

When the real mayor of Oklahoma City saw the post, let's just say he wasn't too happy about it.

This is why you have to love Twitter and sports. These types of funny interactions never get old.

Andrew Wiggins shot 11-of-24 from the field and 2-of-4 from beyond the arc against the Thunder during his 40-point explosion, helping the Timberwolves earn their third win in a row. Minnesota is now 20-21 on the season, good for ninth place in the Western Conference standings.

Wiggins sure does love playing the Thunder. The former No. 1 overall pick averages 21.7 points against OKC for his career. Last season, the swingman hit a game-winning, half-court 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat OKC at home.

Wiggins scored 30 points in the first meeting between the two teams this season and is now averaging 35.0 points against OKC this year. Fans in Minnesota only wish Wiggins could play like this every night.
