Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander couldn't help but poke fun at Josh Giddey after the rookie recorded his first career triple-double.

Giddey broke LaMelo Ball's record as the youngest player to register a triple-double, as he finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 14 assists in a losing effort against the Dallas Mavericks. While they would have certainly wished for the win, it's certainly still a reason to celebrate for the rebuilding franchise.

SGA, who was out of the game because of COVID-19 health and safety protocols, joined the celebration as well. However, instead of focusing on his game, Shai called Giddey “Troy Bolton” for his looks.

Certainly, Josh Giddey won't be singing “Get'cha Head in the Game” any time soon, right? Right? Maybe we should call Shai “Chad” moving forward?

Anyway, it's all fun for the Thunder despite the defeat. Aside from Giddey's trip-dub, they did well in staying close and putting up a fight against Luka Doncic and the Mavs. Such performance should only bode well in their development. Who knows, it could very well be the “Start of Something New” a catalyst for a turnaround for the team.

At the very least, we know the Thunder are all in this together as they try to remain competitive in the tough Western Conference.
