The Minnesota Timberwolves continue their playoff push when they take on the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, with point guard Jeff Teague being listed as questionable to play and Robert Covington set to miss his 24th straight game.

Teague, who didn't play on Monday against the Sacramento Kings, is dealing with left knee tendinitis and is 50/50 to play on Wednesday. Covington, meanwhile, continues to recover from a bone bruise on his right knee.

The absence of Jeff Teague isn't that bad since the Timberwolves have Derrick Rose and Tyus Jones on the roster. Monday against the Kings, Rose scored 20 points off the bench while Jones finished with 16 points and eight assists as the starter.

Teague, who hasn't been healthy pretty much all season, is averaging 11.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game this season. He's played in 36 games. Rose, the former league MVP, is averaging 18.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists, and Jones is putting up 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists.

Minnesota desperately needs Robert Covington back, as he's the team's best perimeter defender. Covington hasn't played since Dec. 31. The swingman is averaging 13.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 35 games this season with the Philadelphia 76ers and Timberwolves.

Minnesota has won four out of its last five games. They are 29-31 on the season, good for 10th place in the Western Conference standings.
