It's been quite a week for Patrick Beverley. After being traded twice, he has now been a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, and Minnesota Timberwolves in the blink of an eye. Despite all the chaos going on around him, Beverley maintains a positive outlook on his life and on the T-Wolves prospects in the upcoming year, as reflected in a Tweet on Wednesday:

The deal Minnesota made to acquire Beverley from Memphis in exchange for guard Jarrett Culver and forward Juancho Hernangomez follows a trade between Memphis and the Clippers where Beverley was involved. The Clippers sent Pat Bev, guard Rajon Rondo, and center Daniel Oturu to Memphis in exchange for guard Eric Bledsoe and a TPE.

Though many don't like Pat Bev for his on-court antics, fiery personality, and possibly jinxing trash-talk, there's no denying his incredible work ethic and dedication to giving it his all no matter the circumstance. He's a pesk on the ball who steps up for big games when his team needs it, and showed his fierce mentality in the playoffs this year when the Clippers came close to upsetting the Phoenix Suns even without Kawhi Leonard.

Beverley will be a great presence and leader for the Timberwolves, as they head into the 2021 campaign with a bevy of young talent, including Anthony Edwards, D'Angelo Russell, Karl Anthony-Towns, and Jarred Vanderbilt. Though they struggled to scrape wins together during the 2020-2021 season, a lot of that can be chalked up to injuries to those core 4, and all of them are sure to make strikes forward this year as well (especially Edwards and Vanderbilt).

One player's mentality and example can be all the spark a team needs to turn things around. And, hopefully, for Minnesota, Patrick Beverley can be that spark.
