Lonzo Ball has spoken out on in support his brother LiAngelo.

During pregame availability in advance of Thursday's game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers, Lonzo said he and the rest of the family discussed the UCLA situation, and thought it was the right move for LiAngelo to leave, per Tania Ganguli of the L.A. Times.

LiAngelo, now famously, was pulled out of UCLA by his father, LaVar, in response to the program suspending he and two other players for shoplifting from a few stores while in China. LaVar was apparently upset that his son was suspended, and has said in the past that he thought the entire issue was overblown.

LiAngelo may not be on the same basketball level as Lonzo, or even as his younger brother LaMelo. He may have tarnished the reputation of UCLA as well as a result of this incident.

So perhaps it was the right move for LiAngelo to make the decision to part ways with UCLA. The program had absolutely on qualms with suspending the players. In fact, it probably had to in order to save face.

What happens from here for LiAngelo is anyone's guess. Maybe he plays overseas or tries to latch on to another university.

But it must feel good for him to know that the rest of the Ball family has his back.
