UFC superstar Jon Jones has lashed out on his former coach Mike Winklejohn over the apparent truth about his departure from JacksonWink MMA.

Following his recent run-ins with the law for domestic violence, Jon Jones ended up being  suspended by his longtime gym of JacksonWink MMA.

The gym owner, Mike Winklejohn has set the record straight that he will welcome Jones back to his team if he manages to change his ways for good. However, this is not how “Bones” sees it.

In a series of tweets, the former UFC light heavyweight champion ranted that Winklejohn has lied about caring for his welfare. Moreover, Jones claimed that the renowned MMA trainer hasn't been as good as most people thought he was.

“Coach Wink gets on national TV and tells the world he wants the best for me, and then behind the scenes harassing the other coaches for continuing to work with me. What a miserable bastard,” Jones wrote. “I didn’t leave the team because I couldn’t handle a punishment, I left the gym because I wasn’t training with Wink anymore anyways. This man hasn’t taught the students a new technique since I met him.”

“Just don’t go on TV and pretend to give a shit about someone who has made you so much money over the years, giving you so many world championships, and then behind closed doors secretly try to crush them,” he added. “Real douche bag move Mike. We literally had a convicted rapist training on the team for years and now all of a sudden he has morals. Get out of here!”

As things stand, Jones is now training with former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo and another famed MMA trainer Greg Jackson in Arizona.
