Nick Diaz has been a very interesting case when it comes to his future in the UFC. The older Diaz brother surprisingly came back against Robbie Lawler at UFC 266 after taking almost six years off.

He had a very entertaining fight against Robbie Lawler and they boosted UFC 266. Nick Diaz didn't necessarily look great in his return as he ended the fight in the third round after taking heavy damage.

Nick Diaz's coach recently took to Instagram and dropped a massive clue on his future. There's no doubt a return to the UFC is in their plans.

“Look for @nickdiaz209 to fight by the end of the year,” Cesar Gracie wrote on Instagram.

Yancy Medeiros, Nick Diaz's teammate, did recently speak out on his return to the cage. The Hawaiian hinted at a return to the UFC and in better condition than before.

“I feel like with a proper camp, Nick will come back and get better. From what I know, he’s doing much better too.”

UFC president Dana White had a very different opinion on the subject when asked about it back in September. He didn't think he would come back and he thought he should retire.

“I was very impressed with his comeback in September. I had conversations with Robbie Lawler [who beat Diaz] and he had nothing but respect for him and how he fought,” Dana White said to ESPN. “But regardless of how good Diaz looked, what he did after such a huge layoff, I don’t think Nick should fight. He’s a grown man, he can do whatever he wants. But I just don’t think Nick does this because he loves it. He does it because he has to do it. People always ask me what’s the key to success. It’s all about being happy and doing what you love.”
