Nick Diaz has been making it known that he wants to come back to the UFC and Kamaru Usman is the man he wants to face next. Dana White was recently asked about it and the man in charge did not mince his words.

Nick Diaz was speaking to TMZ when he made it known that he wanted to face Kamaru Usman for the title next. He made his return recently back in September at UFC 266 last year.

“I’d rather fight for the title. If I’m going to fight, I want to fight for the title. They want to say that I want to fight a bunch of guys and stuff like that. Well, you know what? It’s a bigger fight,” Diaz said. “Just skip all the mess. I don’t need to go in there and get my ass whooped by one of the young gun, anyway and it’s not that I won’t win. It’s just not motivating to fight somebody that’s…I want to fight for the title. I’m 38 years old. I think I’ll beat him.”

UFC president Dana White was always honest about Nick Diaz and he did not hold back when he found out Nick Diaz wanted Kamaru Usman. The big man in charge did not think it was a good idea for him.

“Especially for as long as he was off and you know, he’s … listen, there’s no denying the Diaz brothers are tough kids,” White told Yahoo! Sports. “But talk to me about Nick Diaz versus Usman? Usman is the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world. I need to look out for Nick and make sure that Nick doesn’t get hurt.”
