Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic has a chance to make history in the US Open Finals against Daniil Medvedev, and he's prepared to do all it takes to make it happen.

In a post-game interview after his impressive win against German Alexander Zverev, Djokovic said this about his finals match against Medvedev. (via ESPN)

“There's only one match left… All in, let's do it. I've gotta put my heart, and my soul, and my body, and my head into that one. I'm gonna treat the next match like it's the last match of my career.”

Djokovic is on the cusp of reaching the pinnacle of tennis glory. If Djokovic wins his final match against Medvedev two days from now, he will surpass Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for the most singles majors in their career with 21 majors.

A Djokovic win in the US Open would also earn him a calendar-year Grand Slam, where a player wins all four of the major tennis events in a single year. Djokovic has already won the Australian Open, the French Open, and the Wimbledon this year. The last guy to do it was Rob Laver back in 1969.

However, it's not going to come easy for the Serbian legend, as he faces the second-ranked Medvedev. Medvedev has already beaten Djokovic five times recently, and he's looking to score an extra-sweet victory this time around by denying a Djokovic grand slam. He's already given his thoughts about a potential final against Djokovic, too.

Tennis aficionados around the globe will surely be looking forward to the US Open final in two days. Can Djokovic etch his place at the top of the tennis game, or will Medvedev earn his first Major win in dramatic fashion?
