Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker put on a show once again, dropping a career-high 39 points in a 119-108 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 20-year-old phenom was coming of a prior career-high mark of 38 points, leading the Suns to a 112-111 overtime thriller of a win against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Booker had game-highs in points and assists (seven), but the Phoenix bench only mustered nine points, making it all the more difficult with a Lakers bench that outscored them by 38 points.

Despite taking a few games finding his groove on the court, the Kentucky product has been on-fire as of late, and it's likely he's already a big part of other teams' scouting reports.

The Suns, however, will have to bolster their bench in order to convert these scoring bursts into actual wins, as they may run out of late-rally comebacks like the one on Friday night.
