No one can deny that the Boston Celtics gave the Golden State Warriors a proper scare throughout their epic NBA Finals series. At certain points in the six-game series, it appeared that the tide had shifted in the favor of the Celtics and that the Dubs had their backs against the wall. Through all the adversity, however, Stephen Curry never wavered.

Warriors star Draymond Green recently spoke out on how Curry's killer mentality carried them throughout the playoffs. It wasn't just Steph's outstanding play on the basketball court that led to this title win for Golden State. The way the greatest shooter of all time carried himself throughout the series had a major impact on the rest of the team:

“He’s sitting there smiling like ‘this is over,’” Green told Logan Murdock of The Ringer. “Like they don’t stand a chance and we all fed off that the entire series. When everyone else was struggling, different parts of the series, he stayed down, he stayed true, and carried us when he needed to carry us. And it’s such an incredible thing to have that guy as the head of your snake, face of your organization, the face of this dynasty.”

Green's struggles throughout the series were well-documented. He did not look like himself, and the critics had already brought out the pitchforks. It is clear that Green drew inspiration from Curry and his steadfastness throughout the series. Dray bounced back in a major way for the Warriors in their series-clinching win in Game 6, and there's no doubt that he gives a lot of credit to Curry for all this.
