It's not every day that players and fans witness greatness unfold, but the entire Golden State Warriors were gifted just that by Stephen Curry. The two-time MVP exploded for a career-best 62 points on Sunday night to lead the Dubs to their first 2021 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Curry's 62-point showcase was epic, so much so that  the entire bench mob had a front-row seat to one of the best shooting performances this season. With no fans in the stands due to COVID-19 protocols, it was the Warriors' reserve unit who filled up the empty Chase Center as they went absolute bonkers after Curry knocked down his 60th, 61st, and 62nd points of the evening with a crazy long-range bomb.

It hasn't been the smoothest of rides so far for this campaign for the Warriors, so it's definitely great to see them out there being jubilant and ecstatic after Stephen Curry's career night. His 62-point performance also helped Golden State avenge their 25-point loss against the Blazers on Friday.

Curry has some heavy lifting to do this season as he tries to help the Warriors bounce back from a league-worst record in 2019-20. It was one of the worst campaigns in recent history for the team, as they fell all the way from being 2019 NBA Finalists to a lowly 15-50 regular season finish. This 2020-21, it'll be Curry leading the way for the Warriors once again with Klay Thompson out and rehabbing his Achilles injury.
