The Golden State Warriors seemingly re-write the record books every time they take the floor. On Sunday, that was the case once again, as they notched a victory over the Charlotte Hornets, giving them 317 wins over the last five years, breaking the record they themselves had previously set for victories in a five-year span, per ESPN Stats & Info.

The win Sunday also clinched the Pacific division crown for Golden State, but for a club eyeing their fourth world title in the past five years, division championships can tend to feel like unnecessary celebrations. They were keyed to victory Sunday by the three-point shooting of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, something they have gotten accustomed to as the duo have emerged as arguably the best shooting duo in league history over the past five years. The Splash Bros. are hugely responsible for many of the wins of the historic past five seasons.

Also playing huge roles in that success are forward Draymond Green and head coach Steve Kerr, who have been along for the ride since the start. The Warriors have redefined basketball history, with the trio of All-Stars at the heart with Kerr tying the group together.

They still have six regular-season games remaining on the docket before they can officially compete for another championship, which gives the team the opportunity to increase their five-year win record into uncatchable territory. For all of the flak that the organization catches, there can be no denying that they've won more games in a five-year span than any other club in history.
