While speaking to reporters via conference call, Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers was asked whether the franchise will be able to spend a lot of money on free agents whenever the 2020 offseason period begins.

Myers said the Warriors aren't really sure what their offseason plans will look like,  but he maintained that he and owner Joe Lacob will always be smart and aggressive.

The Warriors may have had the worst record in the NBA in 2019-20, but they will likely be playoff contenders again in 2020-21. For the first time as a foursome, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins will take the floor together.

The Dubs will also have a top pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari and Los Angeles Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell are two players who become unrestricted free agents in the summer that could interest the Warriors. Other than those two guys, though, the 2020 free agency class doesn't really have any top players the Dubs need to pursue.

The 2019-20 campaign was the first time the Warriors missed the playoffs under head coach Steve Kerr, who joined the franchise in 2014. The Dubs have gone to five straight NBA Finals under Kerr and won three. This season was very humbling for the team, but everyone in Golden State knows Curry, Thompson and Green are going to be highly motivated to lead the franchise back to the promised land.

After all, most pundits believe the Warriors' dynasty is over now that Kevin Durant is gone. Only time will tell if that is truly the case.
