Golden State Warriors forward Juan Toscano-Anderson opens up about his lack of minutes as Dub Nation continues to stay in top form. The Mexican-American has been in and out of the rotation for head coach Steve Kerr and chose to share a bit of insight on not being able to go out there and consistently perform on a nightly basis.

After another Dubs win on Thursday night, JTA kept it real. The 28-year old came off the bench once again and had a quiet 16 minutes of action in the Warriors' 104-89 win on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers. But, according to Toscano-Anderson, it's all really about perspective.

“I think the only difficult part is having the desire to play. I love this game. It's my life right here. I put so much effort and emotion into this game so I'll just always want to play. But, at the end of the day, I'm an adult and I understand what my job and role is here on this team and I'm accepting of it. I can sit here and pout about it but what good is that going to do? It's all about perspective,” JTA said (via Jason Dumas of Bleacher Report).

In his third season in the league, it seems as though JTA has found some sort of comfort not being the guy for the Warriors. The former member of the Santa Cruz Warriors from the G-League knows that he's come a long way and just being around players like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green is certainly more than enough.

“I can be anywhere else in the world. I can be on any other team, I can be on a losing team. Sh-t, I can be back in the G-League. But I'm on the best team in the NBA, my hometown team. I get to play with Hall of Famers. It's perspective, man.,” he added. “I mean, I want to play more, of course. Everybody wants to play. But, at the end of the day, as a grown man you gotta wake up and do your job and that's what my job is. My job is to give my team the spark coming off the bench and whenever I'm needed and my number is called I gotta perform. Just staying ready, man. That's not difficult at all. I've been through tougher things in my life so [it's just] perspective,”

In 15 games so far this season, Toscano-Anderson has been a solid contributor off the bench. He's averaged around 12 minutes per game and has been a huge energy booster for the reserve unit. With guys like Gary Payton II and rookie Jonathan Kuminga getting their share of the spotlight, look for JTA to be a true professional and stay ready whenever the Warriors need him to ball out.

For the forward, the important thing is that the Warriors are rolling. After another road win on Thursday, Golden State continues to stay on top of the league with a 13-2 record, stamping their class early this season. Any real hooper will tell you that winning is always enough and that's certainly the case with Juan Toscano-Anderson and the Golden State Warriors.
