Golden State Warriors swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. is not allowing the relentless trade rumors to get into his head. Instead of holding it against anyone, the 25-year-old high-flyer is focusing his energy on how to help the Warriors win more, according to The Athletic's Anthony Slater.

The Warriors' acquisition of Oubre was lauded by many as it somehow softened the blow of losing Klay Thompson due to injury for the second straight year. Oubre, however, has not lived up to the expectations in The Bay. His horrible shooting from outside the arc continues to be problematic for Steve Kerr's offense. While he has been playing considerably better over the last few games, many believe his stint with the Warriors is not safe until the trade deadline passes on March 25.

It seems, however, that the post-trade rumor conversation he had with Kerr lit a fire under Oubre. He had arguably his best game for the Warriors in their blowout win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. He finished with 20 points—his second-highest scoring game of the season—on 7-of-9 field goal shooting. He also added nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block in just 24 minutes.

As far as Oubre is concerned, his pure dedication is with the Warriors as he hopes to help them return to the NBA Playoffs. He won't allow outside distractions to sour his relationship with the team.

The former Kansas standout still has a lot to work on under Kerr's tutelage, but the great attitude of Kelly Oubre Jr. serves as a nice start.
