After officially joining the Golden State Warriors' front office, Shaun Livingston was asked to talk about the team's championship window.

The Warriors had the worst record in the NBA in 2019-20 prior to games getting suspended in March due to COVID-19. However, Golden State should be back in the playoffs next season with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green leading the way, plus Andrew Wiggins aboard for a full season after his trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Livingston, who won three titles with the Warriors as a player, believes Golden State's championship window is still very open:

Curry only played in five games in 2019-20 due to a broken hand, while Thompson missed the entire season recovering from his ACL tear. With the healthy Splash Brothers back in the fold, odds are the Warriors will return to the postseason, but it's not a guarantee they'll compete for a title since the Western Conference is so rugged.

The Warriors have the second overall pick in the 2020 draft. They can either draft a young player or trade the pick for a proven star. Thus far, there have been conflicting reports about what Golden State plans to do, which is to be expected since the draft is still a few months away.

Curry, Thompson and Green are certainly motivated to win another championship since many pundits believe the dynasty is over following the departure of two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant. They shouldn't be counted out given their talent and championship experience.
