Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry has been in foul trouble in all four games thus far against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Curry picked up four fouls in Games 1, 2 and 4, and had five fouls in Game 3. Instead of bashing the referees for his foul trouble, though, the two-time MVP and leader of the Warriors took the high road and said he needs to be smarter moving forward.

Despite being in foul trouble all series, Curry is still putting up stellar numbers for the Warriors, who are up 3-1 against the Clippers despite surrendering a 31-point second-half lead in Game 2 – the biggest in postseason history.

Curry is averaging 25.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists in the series while shooting 49.2 percent from the field, 47.4 percent from beyond the arc and 96.0 percent from the free-throw line. Game 4 was the only game so far where Curry hasn't scored at least 21 points. He finished with 12 points in Game 4. The Warriors won by eight. Curry played only 20 minutes in Game 3 because of foul trouble. He still managed to put up 21 points.

The Warriors will look to close out the series versus the Clippers on Wednesday at home. After suffering that epic Game 2 collapse, Golden State seems to be clicking on all cylinders again on both ends of the floor.

Game 5 is on Wednesday at Oracle Arena. If the Warriors win, they’ll advance onto the second round of the playoffs, where they’re likely to face the Houston Rockets – the team that pushed them to seven games in last year’s Western Conference Finals.
