Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors became the fastest player to hit 150 3-pointers in a season, according to Justin Kubatko of StatMuse — doing so in merely 30 games.

It was Curry who held the previous record, having reached the mark in 33 games during his 2015-16 MVP season, one that was tied by James Harden this season.

Harden leads the league in 3-pointers made with 173 on the season, but he has also played in six more games than Curry and attempted 107 more trifectas while boasting a lead of 22 more triples.

Curry has had a subpar stretch of games shooting the ball in December and early in January, as his percentage has dipped from the incandescent 50 percent he shot through the start of the 2018-19 season.

Harden is in the midst of his best season, connecting on 38.6 percent of his 3-pointers while attempting a vast 12.4 3-pointers per game. He is blessed with a perpetual green light due to the absence of Chris Paul and Eric Gordon, leaving all the backcourt duties solely in his hands as he goes through a scorching streak scoring the ball.

The Beard has attempted 10 or more treys in his last 11 games, but conventual wisdom says he will tail off at some point, as he has only reached 39 percent shooting from deep once in his career, as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Curry, meanwhile, is still flirting with the elusive 50-45-90 club, already boasting a members-only jacket from his second MVP season. He is second in the league in scoring with 28.9 points per game, shooting 48.3 percent from the field, 44.3 percent from deep and 91.3 percent from the foul line.
