Golden State Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry is branching out into a new business venture. According to a report from CNBC, the three-time champion has reportedly finalized an equity partnership with Oxigen, which is a beverage company that makes a premium water to assist in muscle recovery.

News of Curry's partnership with Oxigen came down the pike on Thursday morning. According to the company's founder, Blair Bentham, the water specializes in helping reduce soreness “faster than the body can do so on its own.”

Curry noted that Oxigen aligns “with brands and partners that I truly believe in.” The full details of this new deal were not released, but this brand has Curry's stamp of approval:

“I want to make sure that people understand the benefits that the product brings to you beyond just the taste,” Stephen Curry said of his partnership with Oxigen in an interview with CNBC.

“There’s a lot of people who don’t know that not all water is made the same,” Curry added.

Curry filmed a new commercial to celebrate the partnership:

Stephen Curry and the Warriors are currently watching the resumption of the 2019-20 NBA season from home, as they were among the teams left off the invitation list to the Orlando bubble. A true competitor, he admits that simply watching is tough. However, he also noted that he's watching more intently than he ever has:

“I've watched more games start to finish than I have in a long time,” Curry told CNBC.

Interested patrons can find Oxigen water at several retail locations, including 7-11, Kroger and CVS. The company, which was founded in 2014, is no doubt happy to have their new face.
