Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is happy that the NBA is back, but he wishes that his team was part of the restart in Orlando, Florida.

The Warriors weren't invited to the return of the 2019-20 campaign in Disney World after registering the worst record in the NBA. With that said, Curry admitted that he missed playing basketball badly after watching games resume late last July.

“Obviously I was happy to see basketball back on TV, but that first week I had major FOMO,” the Warriors sharpshooter said, via The New York Times. “Once you see Bron and Kawhi and P.G. go at it, and you remember how much fun it is to play in those types of games and that kind of level, you miss it badly.”

Prior to the 2019-20 campaign, the Warriors reached five consecutive NBA Finals while winning three NBA titles over that same span. However, they could not overcome the obstacles that 2020 has thrown their way — with key departures (Kevin Durant) and major injuries to their top stars (Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry).

While the Warriors are officially out of the picture in the always competitive Western Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets all look like legitimate title contenders that could well come out on top when everything is said and done.

It remains to be seen if the Dubs will be able to bounce back in 2020-21, but things are looking bright for the team with Curry and Thompson looking healthy, and Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins hungrier than ever.
