The Golden State Warriors don't seem to be defeated despite coming ever so close to pulling out wins in Games 4 and 5 against the Houston Rockets, now at the verge of elimination, down 3-2 in the Western Conference Finals.

Point guard Stephen Curry noted the team isn't looking back, but forward to Game 6 at Oracle Arena, which could open up the chance for a potential Game 7.

“I think we're in good spirits considering the situation… Not all is lost,” said Curry, according to Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated. “We played well tonight, just not well enough.”

The Warriors shot the ball better than the Rockets, but they turned the ball over 16 times and still looked like an iso-heavy team that has adopted a new identity by playing against a team that has lulled them into mirroring their offensive strategy.

Golden State attempted a season-low 72 shots in Game 5 — a sign the pace of the game has considerably slowed over the course of the series, with Games 4 and 5 both decided under 100 points for each team.

Yet the spirit seems to be shared by their head coach, Steve Kerr, who didn't show any sign of real concern heading into a Game 6 at home confines in Oracle Arena.

“I feel great about where we are right now,” said Kerr. “That may sound crazy… If we settle down a little bit, we'll be in good shape.”

Golden State's collective spirit will play a large part in their performance for Saturday's game, needing a rousing win in order to carry enough momentum to steal a crucial win at the Toyota Center in a potential Game 7.
