On Wednesday night, the ESPY Awards were held in Los Angeles, California. Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry was the host of the even this year. He really wanted to show his comical side, so he worked with comedian and movie star Kevin Hart on some material.

During the open of the program, Curry is seen sitting for what looks like an interview. He introduces himself before dropping a bomb of a diss on the Boston Celtics.

“I'm your host Stephen Curry. Proud husband of Ayesha Curry. Proud son of Dell Curry. Proud daddy of
The Boston Celtics,” Curry says. The end of the video cuts to Hart laughing on his couch.

Curry certainly dominated the Boston Celtics during the NBA Finals last month. He averaged over 31 points per game during the six games. That included a series-changing 43 point performance in Boston with the Warriors trailing the series at the time, 2-1. That game, he put the Warriors entirely on his back and carried them to victory.

From there, Golden State and Stephen Curry never looked back. It's a pretty funny joke but is somewhat without merit. The Celtics have the second best win percentage against the Stephen Curry throughout his career. He is 11-11 vs. Boston all-time. But the NBA Finals obviously is what everyone will remember.

The Celtics are looking to rebound and have made a strong effort to do so. They traded for former Rookie of the Year guard Malcolm Brogdon and signed Danilo Gallinari to be their ninth man in the rotation.
