As the NBA season gets ready to fire up in the next couple of weeks, the Golden State Warriors will now have Andrew Wiggins available for the entire year. This comes after plenty of waffling back and forth but Wiggins ultimately deciding to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Warriors superstar Stephen Curry weighed in on the decision by Wiggins to get vaccinated so he can play the entire year for Golden State.

With Curry, Draymond Green and a healthy Klay Thompson back in the fold, the Warriors have serious aspirations of making noise in the Western Conference. Andrew Wiggins is a key piece to the puzzle but as he remained unvaccinated throughout the offseason, it put his availability for the regular season in doubt.

His availability was in question due to a mandate passed that would've had Wiggins missing all the home games for the Warriors had he not gotten the vaccine. His decision to end up getting it should help the Warriors on the court a ton.

With the news of Wiggins getting vaccinated, the Warriors announced that they are now at 100 percent vaccination for the entire team.

The home opener for the Warriors is October 21 when they will welcome in Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers. They can now pencil in and expect Wiggins to be part of the show for Golden State.
