The Golden State Warriors came roaring back with a 107-88 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. It was an all-around impressive effort from the Warriors, who are seeking their fourth NBA Finals championship with Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson on the team.

Everyone knows Curry and Thompson are extremely talented players. The duo have become the most dangerous three-point shooting tandem in the NBA. However, this often means that Draymond Green gets overlooked. But his impact on a game is vital to Golden State's success.

The veteran forward did a little bit of everything in Game 2. He scored 9 points, dished out 7 assists, grabbed 5 rebounds, and recorded 1 steal and 1 block.

One person who certainly understands Green's value to the Warriors is Stephen Curry. The superstar point guard commented on Green's tenacity and importance to Golden State.

“About 5 minutes after Game 1,” Curry said in response to when he knew Green was going to bring the intensity. “That's all I needed to see and hear from him… Some of that stuff doesn't always show up in the stat sheet in terms of points, rebounds, assists, just that factor. But you feel him and his presence, and the other team feels him and his presence and his intensity. That is contagious for all of us.”

The Warriors bounced back nicely following their disappointing Game 1 defeat. They will look to build off of Game 2's momentum on the road in Boston for Game 3 in what promises to be an exciting affair.
