Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has amassed 4,621 assists throughout his Hall of Fame career. But none of them are bigger than his most recent commitment to help out those in need during this coronavirus pandemic.

Ever since the coronavirus outbreak forced the NBA to suspend the 2019-20 season, NBA players have been doing their part to provide assistance during these trying times. Among the latest to do so is the two-time league MVP.

According to Cedric Thornton of Black Enterprise, Curry will partner with Lineage Logistics Holdings L.L.C. to launch the “Share A Meal” campaign, which aims to give 100 million meals to help out those affected amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Per Black Enterprise, Lineage Logistics, the world's largest warehousing and logistics company, has committed $5 million to help launch the “Share A Meal” campaign.

As mentioned, several other players have made donations and commitments to help out through this global crisis. Aside from Curry, the Warriors organization also committed $1-million to provide assistance to workers at the Chase Center.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love donated $100,000 to staff at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert, who became the first NBA player to test positive for the virus, also gave $500,000 to provide assistance. New Orleans Pelicans rookie sensation Zion Williamson, likewise, committed to pay for the salaries of employees at the Smoothie King Center.

This global pandemic has affected the lives of many people all over the world. Despite the possible financial implications due to the abrupt halt of the season, it's great to see NBA players still doing their part to help out those who need it the most.
