For the seventh time in his career, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been voted as an NBA All-Star. Via Twitter, Curry expressed his gratitude to his teammates and fans for helping him achieve the feat.

Curry will be part of the NBA All-Star starters for the Western Conference pool. Apart from Curry, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard, and Nikola Jokic were also voted as starters.

Curry would have to wait if he'll be picked by either LeBron or Kevin Durant in the NBA All-Star Draft. LBJ and KD were named captains after topping the votes in their respective conferences.

Curry played in his first NBA All-Star Game in 2014, a year before he won his first title with the Warriors. Curry was already known as a deadly shooter then. Fans and the media quickly took notice of Curry's unique style of play, which is a blend of nasty handles and a quick trigger from downtown.

During their title streak, Curry was selected to more NBA All-Star games as a starter. Along the way, Curry revolutionized how the game is played as teams and players saw how much value the three-pointer possesses.

Stephen Curry, who could also join the Three-Point Shootout, missed the midseason showcase last year as he sat out a chunk of the regular season due to a hand injury. Now, the two-time MVP seems fully healthy to suit up on March 7 in Atlanta.

There have been controversies, however, regarding the upcoming NBA All-Star game. Some players, including LeBron and Giannis Antetokounmpo are not too pumped about it given the tight schedule. But from the looks of it, the NBA is still pushing through with the festivities.
