Stephen Curry is possibly the last of a dying breed of NBA stars. The Golden State Warriors MVP has spent his entire 12-year career in the Bay Area.

If you ask literally any Warriors fan, you'll get a 100% consensus on locking Curry up for as long as he's willing to play. Luckily, that's definitely the plan, according to Golden State GM Joe Lacob.

Via The TK Show with long-time Warriors reporter Tim Kawakami:

“My full expectation is that Steph will be with us for the remainder of his career,” the Warriors GM told Kawakami. “I think he wants that [and] we want that.

“I really don't have anything to say about that other than we're in the middle—or [we have] started that process. That'll go on this summer.”

Does anyone in their right mind expect otherwise? As far as approval ratings go, Stephen Curry probably ranks highest among stars for their own fanbases. The Warriors star is arguably the most likable superstar in the NBA, playing a game that's equal parts insanely efficient and extremely entertaining.

Barring a catastrophic rift forming between Stephen Curry and any of his teammates, coaches, or any members of the front office, the Warriors icon looks like a lock to finish his career with the Dubs.
