Despite losing Game 3 of the NBA Finals to the Toronto Raptors, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is still full of praise for superstar point guard Stephen Curry who carried the Dubs alone.

Curry scored a new postseason career high of 47 points,  going 14-of-31 from the field including 6-of-14 from beyond the arc. Overall, scored 43 percent of his team's points in their 123-109 loss.

While Kerr is obviously disappointed with their loss that saw the Warriors go down 1-2 in the series, he wasn't able to help it but praise Curry for his spectacular performance that kept Golden State alive throughout the contest.

Without Klay Thompson or Kevin Durant on the court, the Raptors focused their defense on Curry. Even with the hounding defense of Fred VanVleet and consistent double teams, however, Curry managed to put up some amazing numbers.

Unfortunately, he is the lone bright spot for the team after his fellow starters combined for just 36 markers.

The Warriors badly needed this type of offensive performance from Curry. Without it, the game likely would've been a blowout in the third quarter.

While his play was impressive, the Warriors hope that Curry gets some help soon and doesn't have to single-handedly put the team on his back. Klay Thompson is expected to return from his hamstring injury in Game 4, but Kevin Durant remains doubtful.
