Golden State Warriors star guard Klay Thompson may currently be injured and will reportedly miss two weeks of action due to a fractured thumb, but missing games is definitely something he is not used to. Since entering the league, the four-time All-Star has been able to remain healthy for the most part, which is testament to how he has given a lot of importance to his conditioning.

Even head coach Steve Kerr has noticed it. He recently talked about Thompson continuing the same routine before and after games, which is similar to what other great players do. He also shared, via a video from Mark Medina of The Mercury News, that he is not sure if there's something different that the 28-year-old did this summer to prepare himself for the season.

Thompson turned pro back in 2011, after being selected 11th overall by the Dubs that year. He has seen action in at least 66 games every year, including 77 or more in the last five seasons. This only goes to show how consistent he is in not changing the routine he does, as it has made him very durable, which his team is benefitting from.

This year is no different, as Thompson is having another solid season. Through 66 games, he is averaging impressive numbers of 19.7 points, including 44.3 percent from beyond the arc, to go along with 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 34.4 minutes. His current injury can be considered a setback, but with the timetable given for his return, he'll still be able to play in some games before the playoffs starts, which will be important to get his conditioning back and help him play better in the postseason.
