While it is All-Star guard Steph Curry’s incredible individual performances who has received most of the attention, some of his teammates have also played important roles for the Golden State Warriors.

One of them is shooting guard Jordan Poole, who has become an important part of the team’s rotation.

With a 29-30 record, the Warriors hold the ninth spot in the Western Conference and have a chance to return to the playoffs. But whatever happens this season, it seems as if Poole will be a part of the team’s future plans.

Even the two-time MVP has praised the second-year player and believes he will be a part of the team’s future.

“He has that irrational confidence that is necessary to get through some of those ups and downs,” Curry said in an interview with The Athletic’s Anthony Slater. “I would love to show him some film of me in my second year, some of the ups and down I went through, trying to find your rhythm, find your shots as opportunities come and go. Just keep your confidence of who you are as a player. He’s going to continue to help us and continue to get better.”

The three-time NBA champion did not just praise Poole’s confidence on the court, but also expressed a willingness to guide and help him become a better player. This season, the 21-year-old is averaging 11 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists for the Warriors while shooting 42.9% from the field and 35.3% from beyond the arc.

While it is Curry who has turned heads as he put together another incredible season, the seven-time All-Star has seen the work of his teammates like Poole and believes that they can be a part of the team’s future.
