The Chicago White Sox are getting healthy at just the right time.

White Sox star pitchers Carlos Rodon, Lance Lynn and Lucas Giolito are all set to return to the rotation over the next week. Rodon is scheduled to pitch Friday against the Boston Red Sox, Lynn will go Sunday against the Red Sox and Giolito Tuesday against the Los Angeles Angels, according to White Sox manager Tony La Russa.

This is great news as Chicago prepares for the stretch run. Rodon and Lynn are both Cy Young candidates this season, but they've been a bit banged up of late. Rodon missed time in August and also just missed his last turn in the rotation with a shoulder issue. Lynn hasn't pitched since getting roughed up by the Chicago Cubs at the end of August. The righty went on IL with a knee injury.

As for Giolito, he hasn't pitched since the last day of August against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 2019 All-Star suffered a hamstring injury, but now it looks like he'll be good to return next week.

The White Sox currently have the AL Central in hand thanks to an 80-59 record, which is good for an 11-game lead over the Cleveland Indians, but they need these stud pitchers healthy come playoff time if they're going to win the World Series. At their best, it's hard for any other team to match up with Chicago's set of arms, with Dylan Cease thrown in there as a quality No. 4 starter.

The White Sox have been hit hard by injuries this season, but when healthy, they have the talent to win it all. This is a good step toward getting healthy.
