The Washington Wizards finally secured their first win of the season on Friday, as they made easy work of a shorthanded Minnesota Timberwolves side, 130-109. All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal came out with an eye-popping performance for D.C, and it prompted a familiar celebration from the 27-year-old at one point in the contest.

Beal showed his strength by finishing an and-1 play against Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards, and he celebrated the highlight play with a shoutout for teammate Russell Westbrook:

Russell Westbrook sat out Friday's game for rest purposes, but he was very active on the sidelines cheering his team on throughout the contest. Bradley Beal clearly appreciated his new backcourt buddy's cheerleading, and he pulled out Westbrook's rock the baby celebration in the above play.

Beal dominated Minnesota in this contest, finishing with 31 points on 12-of-20 shooting, to go along with three triples, three rebounds, seven assists and a steal in just 28 minutes of action.

It was a great moment for the Wizards, who had a horrendous 0-5 start to the campaign. They return to action on Monday in a tough test against the Brooklyn Nets. Westbrook is expected to suit up for that outing, as he faces off against former teammate Kevin Durant.
