After suffering a gut-wrenching loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Tennessee Titans will shift their focus on the 2022 NFL offseason. It'll be interesting to see what this franchise does, as the roster is already incredibly stacked. The first step is making sure the team retains the best players possible from the current roster. We take a look at the Titans 2022 NFL free agency and who they should consider re-signing to the organization.

Tennessee is solid in all three phases of the game, so it's not like this team has to go through numerous changes in the offseason. Regardless, the Titans will evaluate the roster and decide who will return and who will hit the open market. Look for the front office to address the offense, defense, and special teams during the re-signing period.

Kick and punt returning aren't that great, but everything else is on par. Olasunkanmi Adeniyi isn't a household name, but he's played a key role for the Titans' special teams unit. He more than deserves to return. Furthermore, Tennessee will aim to maintain most of the offensive line while acquiring younger players through the draft. Lastly, Harold Landry is set to receive a massive payday.

With that said, here are the three best Titans re-sign targets heading into the 2022 NFL free agency.

Titans Re-Sign targets for 2022 NFL Free Agency

3. Olasunkanmi Adeniyi

He had a career year, as Olasunkanmi Adeniyi was the most consistent defender for the Titans' special teams. He also had opportunities to sub in for the defense due to injuries and recorded 2.5 sacks, the first of his career. Tennessee is bound to address the special teams unit, but re-signing Adeniyi should be a priority in the 2022 NFL offseason.

This is an incredibly underrated move, as many disregard special teams when analyzing a team's needs. However, the Titans' front office would be wise to bring back Olasunkanmi Adeniyi, as he'll maintain consistency for that part of the team.

2. Ben Jones

Ben Jones is a bit on the older side, but he's performed great for the Titans over the years. Although the front office is likely to add youth to the offensive line, Jones deserves to be the starting center once again next year. He was the best lineman for Tennessee throughout the season and there's no reason to believe he slows down anytime soon.

Bringing Jones back is a smart decision, as it gives the Titans a valuable starting center to remain competitive next year. Additionally, the front office could look to acquire his future replacement in the upcoming NFL Draft. Tennessee is in a position to remain atop of the league while adding young assets to be a contender for years. Ben Jones is a major help to this organization and we should see him in two-tone blue once again.

1. Harold Landry

Re-signing Harold Landry is one of the most obvious decisions the front office will make in the offseason. He was one of the best pass-rushers in the league this year, finishing with career highs in sacks (12) and total tackles (74). The defense was not the issue for the Titans this year and bringing back Landry will keep Tennessee competitive next season.

Look for Landry to continue his high level of production. The Titans have found a way to build a Super Bowl-caliber defense. Maintaining that unit is crucial for this franchise, which means we'll likely see Harold Landry receive a massive paycheck in the offseason. Once that's handled, the front office can focus on improving the offense and offensive coordinator.
