The Kansas City Chiefs have gotten off to a terrific start in 2019, winning their first two games behind tremendous performances from reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes.

Now, the Chiefs will face what will be, by far, their stiffest test thus far when they play host to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday.

It will be a battle of two exciting young quarterbacks in a potential playoff preview, so you won't want to miss this one.

But here are four reasons why Kansas City will get the better of the Ravens in Week 3.

4. The Ravens Haven't Been Tested

As great as the Ravens have looked over the first couple of weeks of the season, they haven't exactly beaten great competition.

They started off with a win over the lowly Miami Dolphins, and this past weekend, they defeated an Arizona Cardinals team that won three games last year.

To be fair, you can only play who is on your schedule, and Baltimore has made the most of it thus far, but neither of those clubs are even in the same league as the Chiefs, who may very well be the biggest threat to the New England Patriots.

We'll see how the Ravens hold up against Mahomes and Co.

3. Home-Field Advantage

We know how difficult it is to play at Arrowhead Stadium, which is easily one of the best home fields in the NFL.

Well, the Ravens will have to trek there for Sunday, which gives the Chiefs an immediate edge.

Kansas City went 7-1 on its home turf last season, 8-2 if you include the playoffs. While beating the Chiefs in their own building is certainly possible, it is a tough task, especially for a young team like Baltimore.

That crowd is going to be ravenous, especially knowing that this is a Ravens team the Chiefs could see in January.

2. Offensive Versatility

The Chiefs are currently without Tyreek Hill, who is nursing a broken clavicle, but the show has gone on for Andy Reid's club.

First, Kansas City had Sammy Watkins exploding for 198 yards and three touchdowns in Week 1. Then, this past Sunday, it was Demarcus Robinson who carried the load, logging 172 yards and a couple of scores.

Of course, Travis Kelce is always around and has been great to start the season, and Mecole Hardman also had an impressive showing in Week 2.

Throw in the fact that the Chiefs' running backs can also catch passes, and Mahomes has a plethora of weapons to throw to even without Hill.

Kansas City is a very difficult offense to contain, even for a very good Ravens defense.

1. Patrick Mahomes Is Just That Good

This dude really is special, and if Tom Brady weren't still in the NFL, Mahomes would easily be the best player in football.

It doesn't matter who Mahomes plays: he will shred them. Look what he did to a good Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 1, dropping 40 points on them without Hill for most of the game.

He then exploded for 28 points on the Oakland Raiders in the second quarter this past Sunday.

The Ravens are a disciplined defensive ballclub, but I'm not sure they are any match for Mahomes, who seems to be getting better week in and week out.
