Adam Borics is coming off of an excellent fight against Mads Burnell at Bellator 276. The featherweight MMA fighter now finds himself in an excellent place to potentially get the next title shot.

The main event of Bellator 276 saw the two MMA fighters try to take each other's legs off. It actually resulted in Adam Borics potentially breaking his foot as he was forced to limp after the event.

“It’s horrible,” Borics said after limping to a chair at Bellator 276 via MMAJunkie. “I thought if I could kick one more or two more calf kicks, he’s done – but I couldn’t kick. I think I broke my foot. He’s a tough dude, man.”

Adam Borics knows he needs to be ready for when the time and Bellator MMA comes calling for his title shot. He'll need some time to recover and won't be able to return until after June of this year.

“Second part of the year, I’m ready,” Borics said. “They’re fighting in April, and after that, they need the rest – like two, three months, also. So I will be ready.”

The five-round main event at Bellator 276 was very fun and showed what both men are able to do in MMA. Adam Borics took a lot of positive away from the experience.

“It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it,” he said. “It makes me confident after five rounds. I wan’t tired, and it was a high pace. A lot of people were talking about I can’t go a high pace, and I think I showed everyone I’m ready for the title. I can do five rounds easy, so let’s go.”
