Following their successful inaugural season which ended recently, the BIG3 League has already announced some of the signings it's made for its next campaign, via a press release made on Wednesday in New York City.

The league has prioritized player captains, co-captains and coaches from last season, by offering new contracts, and having already reaching two-year deals, giving them the opportunity to re-sign before engaging new talent.

Some of the big names they've successfully re-signed are 2017 BIG3 MVP Rashard Lewis, 2017 BIG3 Champions Trilogy’s Kenyon Martin, Al Harrington and coach Rick Mahorn, Corey Maggette, Chauncey Billups, Clyde Drexler, Gary Payton, Brian Scalabrine, Stephen Jackson, DerMarr Johnson, Ricky Davis, Josh Childress, Cuttino Mobley, Jerome “Junk Yard Dog” Williams, Bonzi Wells, George “The Iceman” Gervin, and Rick Barry.

Allen Iverson, who was the biggest name, and face of the league in the first year, was noticeably not present during the event. It can be recalled that he was part of a controversy where he did not show up in one of their weekly events, and was last seen in a casino instead. For now, it remains unclear if he will still be part of the league moving forward.

Another returnee for next season is Josh Childress, who became the first BIG3 League player to sign with an NBA team. Although he agreed to terms with the Denver Nuggets earlier last month on a non-guaranteed deal, he is still slated to see action once again in the 3-on-3 league, and will look to build on his solid performances in the first season.

Other signings will be announced before the new season kicks off, but it can be expected that there will still be some big names that could be added to their already impressive list of players and coaches. Their founder, Ice Cube, has vowed to continue bringing in more talent to the league, and it appears like he's staying true to his words.
