Carmelo Anthony just led the Portland Trail Blazers to a 117-94 win against the Chicago Bulls.

The 10-time All-Star and former NBA scoring champion finished with a season-high 25 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. During the process, he also passed Alex English for 18th on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

It was undoubtedly a night to remember for Anthony. And after the game, it was made even more special when Melo had a Facetime with his son Kiyan through via his La La's phone.

A couple of weeks ago, a lot of people thought that Anthony wouldn't be able to get back in the NBA. However, with the Blazers' recent struggles, they decided to give Melo a shot by signing him to a non-guaranteed contract.

Melo made his debut for Portland on Nov. 20, during which he finished with 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting.

Still, the Blazers remain optimistic that Melo can help them win more games. He may struggle in some games, but there's a reason why Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have been wanting him to join the Blazers for the past two years. They respect his game and they believe that he still has enough gas left in his tank to prove his doubters wrong.

Anthony's performance against the Bulls is proof of that.
