No one would argue that Giannis Antetokounmpo took the next step in 2018-19. Just because the Milwaukee Bucks superstar has already fulfilled his destiny as one of the best players in the world, though, hardly means he's satisfied. In fact, if this recent Instagram post is any indication, Antetokounmpo seems to be training more diligently than ever.

Antetokounmpo and his older brother, Thanasis, can apparently barely make enough time for fine dining overlooking the ocean because they're so busy working on getting better.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo was a second-round pick of the New York Knicks in 2014. He spent the vast majority of the next two seasons with the G-League Westchester Knicks before returning overseas to continue his playing career. The 26-year-old has been with Greek power Panathinaikos since 2017, winning two consecutive Greek League championships and in 2018 being named Most Spectacular Player.

Giannis, of course, put together one of the rarest statistical individual seasons in league history en route to winning MVP honors.  He averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting a career-high 57.8 percent in 2018-19. That historic level of production and efficiency helped propel the Bucks to new heights, too, as Milwaukee had the league's best win-loss record and net rating during the regular season. The Bucks' season was ended prematurely in the Eastern Conference Finals, though, after Kawhi Leonard switched onto Antetokounmpo mid-series, leading to four consecutive wins by the Toronto Raptors.

No one ever thought Antetokounmpo would get complacent. But that he's already going to such lengths to continue improving shows just how much more room he, and his team, still have to go.
