Milwauke Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is making a solid case to win back-to-back MVPs.

On Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers, Giannis showed Joel Embiid and Co. who is the best player in the world by leading the Bucks to a 119-98 win over their Eastern Conference rivals. The Greek Freak notched 31 points, 17 rebounds and eight assists, all while playing just 29 minutes in the contest.

In the process, Giannis also broke Stephen Curry's single-season record for most 30-point games in under 30 minutes. The Golden State Warriors star had seven of such numbers in  2015-16 , while Antetokounmpo just recorded his eighth this 2019-20 campaign.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Giannis has the Bucks rolling and dominating this year, with Milwaukee leading the NBA with a 48-8 record after Saturday's victory. In 50 games for the team so far, the 25-year-old superstar is averaging 30.0 points, 13.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.1 steal and 1.1 block while shooting an efficient 55.2 percent from the field.

Antetokounmpo's closest rival for the MVP award this season is Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who has catapulted the Purple and Gold franchise to the top of the Western Conference after an injury-riddled year that saw them miss the postseason. However, the Bucks are far ahead in the standings and has been dominant all season long.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo would certainly want to see his team making the NBA Finals and hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy come June, his brilliant individual play is also worthy of recognition.
