In light of an earlier reporter's mishap, Khris Middleton is now called “Jabari” after he was confused to be teammate Jabari Parker following an interview. Middleton ruthlessly put him to shame after a Game 4 win with the help of his running mate Giannis Antetokounmpo, to the laughter of the press.

“The training staff, the players cracked a few jokes,” Middleton said, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell. “Friends and family, the same thing. Now the running joke is around with my friends, they keep calling me Jabari right now, which is a little annoying, but at least it's one of my own teammates and a good guy. So I'm not too mad about that.”

Middleton was asked a few questions that just sounded odd to him, until he realized he was being confused to be someone else.

“I saw his face when he kept asking me the question [at shootaround],” Middleton said. “And then after the game, I remembered it was him. And then he tried to lie to me about it, but I don't know why he tried to lie to me about it. It wasn't like we couldn't figure out who it was again.”

While their faces are completely different, Middleton and Parker are only separated by 15 pounds, both 6-foot-8 forwards with long wingspans and an innate ability to score the ball.

Middleton doesn't mind the teasing, given that is one of his own teammates and someone he respects.
