The Boston Celtics suffered their worst loss in over a month as they fell to the Indiana Pacers, 128-107. The affair was testy throughout, with the Cs getting slapped with several technical fouls with their frustrations palpable.

Celtics star Jaylen Brown, who had himself a solid outing with 23 points on 10-for-16 shooting, was vocal after the contest on his own technical foul for shoving Pacers center Goga Bitadze. Brown felt he was decked hard by a charging Bitadze but the refs swallowed their whistles.

“They missed the call. It was pretty obvious,” said Brown after the Celtics loss. “They even said it after the game. They watched it and reviewed it and it was an offensive foul. That's a big dude. I feel like he was trying to put something behind that. Trying to send a message. So that's why I was upset. You can't miss a call like that. Officiating got me that tech.

“You can't let a play like that go,” the Celtics star continued. “That's where my frustration was. You can't miss that. That's how stuff gets escalated.”

Jaylen Brown and the Celtics will have to shake it off early with Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks coming into town on Tuesday night.
