Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James managed to put together quite the roster for the 2019 NBA All-Star Game. It seems even Boston Celtics point Kyrie Irving is impressed with how the draft turned out.

The two will be reunited as teammates in Charlotte. Irving was notably surprised by the starting five for Team LeBron, via NBA on ESPN:

“Oh wow. That's a great five. That's a great five.”

There is certainly plenty of truth to Irving's comments. Aside from him and James, they will be joined by Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant, Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard, and Houston Rockets guard James Harden. It is safe to say that they will be the betting favorites against Team Giannis this year.

James and Irving teaming up was one of the more notable aspects of the NBA All-Star Draft. This is the second year in a row the Lakers star selected his former teammate. It should also be noted that James took him with the second overall pick, which goes to show just how much he values what Irving brings to the table compared to other All-Stars.

Kyrie Irving recently made headlines when he admittedly apologized to LeBron for not being the easiest teammate to deal with during their time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Their talks lately have raised plenty of speculation about a possible reunion in Los Angeles this summer. Despite all the noise, there is no doubt that they will be looking to secure a victory over Team Giannis for now.
